Description
The base fabric for this reusable beeswax food wrap was purchased to support the art work of artist Maureen Hudson Nampajimpa. Her painting represents the travels of many groups of women during Tjukupa in a region known as Yarranguni, on Mount Doreen Station west of Yuendumu. All of the different “skin” groups are represented, their camp sites being the circles, and the connecting lines the route of their journeys of creation. This is her mother’s country.
The large beeswax food wrap measures 36 x 36 cm, making it the perfect size for covering bowls and plates, sealing cantaloupe and broccoli, enclosing salad wraps and burritos.
The handcrafted reusable food wrap is made from 100% cotton fabric infused with locally sourced beeswax, gum resin and jojoba oil.
It is naturally antibacterial and antimicrobial.
Store all types of fruit, veggies, cheeses, snacks and lunch items such as sandwiches and wraps. Great for covering plates, bowls and food containers.
Use warmth and pressure of hands to create seal.
