Description
This reusable beeswax wrap was handcrafted on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula by Kassandra Carlson.
It is made using 100% cotton fabric which has been custom printed in Melbourne, Australia with a photographic image of the endangered Hooded Plover by Ocean Grove photographer/author/conservationist Carole Poustie. 10% of the sale price for this item of my “Conservation Series” will be donated to Birdlife Australia to assist them with their conservation of the Hooded Plover.
The cotton fabric has been fully immersed in a blend of premium local beeswax sourced from Drysdale’s Beck’s Honey, jojoba oil and gum resin. It is antibacterial and antimicrobial.
The wrap measures 36 x 36 cm – the perfect size for covering bowls, plates, cheese platters, all types of fruit, vegetables, snacks and lunch items such as sandwiches and wraps.
Use the warmth and pressure of your hands to create a seal.
Rinse or wipe with cold water and air dry for over one year of reusability!
